　　一項新的研究表明，父母都工作的家庭，父親可能比母親對于孩子語言的發展有更大的影響力。
　　研究者們從十一個幼兒護理中心招募了九十二個家庭，他們的孩子都不到一歲，并且逐一詢問了他們的收入、受教育狀況、孩子的照顧情況。總之，它們都是受過良好教育的中產階級家庭，父母雙親都和孩子住在一起。
　　當孩子兩歲時，研究人員將他們與父母雙方在家自由玩耍的情景錄制下來，并記錄他們所有的談話。該研究將發表在《應用發展心理學雜志》第十一期。
